About Accommodation

Can I check my bags before check in or after check out?

The Ginza International Hotel accepts requests to check bags for those who arrive early in the morning before check in. We are also happy to check bags on the same day as your check out after the check out time. (Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for checking valuables or fragile items).

Check in is from 1:00 p.m.; check out must be by 11:00 a.m.
Guests may make use of their room for a maximum of 22 hours for one night.

Can I check in early and delay my check out time?

[Early check in]
Standard check in time is 1:00 p.m.; however, it is possible to check in early at 12:00 p.m. An additional early check in fee applies as follows.
Single room: ¥860
Twin/double room: ¥1,290

[Delayed check out]
The possibility of delayed check out depends on scheduled occupancy; if delayed check out is possible for your room, check out may be delayed to as late as 3:00 p.m. for the following additional fees.
Single room: ¥860/h
Twin/double room: ¥1,290/h

Can I send my bags ahead before I arrive for my stay?

Bags may be sent on the day of your stay; please be sure to write the name of the person under which the reservation was made on each bag. Please note, however, that we cannot accept responsibility for valuables or fragile items. (Please contact us in advance concerning items which must be stored in a refrigerator or freezer such as food. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate such requests.)

Do you have a waiting list for cancellations?

We apologize, but the Ginza International Hotel does not have a cancellation wait list. As reservation statuses change every day, we ask that you contact us directly or check our occupancy rates on our website.

From how many days prior to a reservation do you start charging cancellation fees, and how much are your cancellation fees?

For reservations made via our website or directly, we charge 20% of the standard room fee for cancellations made the day prior to a reservation, 80% for same day cancellations, and 100% in situations when the person who made a reservation neither arrives nor makes a cancellation. As concerns the cancellation of reservations made through a travel agent, please contact the agent through which you made your reservation.

Do you have a curfew?

The Ginza International Hotel has no curfew or closing time. The front desk is staffed 24 hours per day. (However, we ask that you contact us if you will be arriving more than two hours later than your previously reported time of arrival.)

Do you offer any express mail services?

The Ginza International Hotel is able to accept requests for express mail service and uses Yamato Transport for its shipping needs. Guests may choose between payment in advance and payment on delivery.

Can three people stay in the same room?

An extra bed may be placed in a twin room. There is an additional cost of ¥2,160 for this service. Please note that the number of extra beds is limited; if you have made your reservation for a twin room via our website, please call us to ask for an extra bed in advance.

Can my child sleep in the same bed with me?

Preschool-aged children may sleep in the same bed as their parents. There is no extra charge. Please be sure to bring your own towels, tooth brush, and other essentials for your child.

Do you have a coin operated laundry facility?

There are no coin operated laundry facilities in the hotel or surrounding area. There is a coin operated laundry facility a 20 minute walk from the hotel in the Nishi-Shimbashi neighborhood.

Do you have a laundry service?

Yes; please fill out a laundry service slip provided in your room and bring the laundry you wish to have cleaned for you by 10:00 a.m. to the front desk on the third floor. Fees are listed on the provided laundry service slips. (Please note that laundry service is not offered on Sundays, national holidays, and the New Year’s and Obon holiday periods.)

Are there any convenience stores nearby?

There is a FamilyMart directly in front of the hotel entrance.

Are there any restaurants in the hotel?

There are no restaurants in the Ginza International Hotel. Guests of the Ginza International Hotel may eat breakfast at the restaurants in the neighboring Ginza Grand Hotel. Meal tickets may be purchased at the Ginza International Hotel front desk for ¥1,840 per person.

About Guest Room

Do you have internet access available in your rooms?

Internet access is available free of charge. A LAN cable is available for use in a desk drawer in each room.

Do you have Wi-Fi access in your rooms?

Wi-Fi connection is free in the hotel.

Do you have chargers for smartphones or cell phones?

Chargers may be borrowed free of charge from the front desk. (For non-smartphone cell phones, chargers are only available for some models.)

Please tell me what room amenities you offer.

Yukata robe, Bath towels, Face towels, Tooth brushes, Shaving razor, Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower caps, Body soap, Body sponge, Cotton swabs, Hand soap, Hair brush, Cleansing oil, Lotion
For those who do not like 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, standard shampoo and conditioner may be obtained free of charge from the front desk.
A hair dryer may be found behind the glass door in the desk in each room.

What do you stock in your room refrigerators?

We do not stock anything in our room refrigerators. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for sale via the vending machines in the third floor lobby.

Do you have ice machines?

An ice machine is available for guest use on the sixth floor.

May I invite people other than guests to my room?

Only guests are permitted in rooms at the Ginza International Hotel. Please make a request at the front desk if you have special circumstances.

Please tell me about your storage options for valuables.

Ginza International Hotel rooms do not have safes. Guests may store their valuables in a safety deposit post at the front desk on the third floor.
